Lesson Overview
Lesson Goal:
Students will develop an online presence that positively portrays them, demonstrates kindness and empathy to others, and recognizes that online imaging may not reflect the full human experience and range of emotions.
Lesson Objectives:
Students will recognize that the way in which people express themselves online may not accurately reflect their daily life.
Students will contrast in-person versus digital media communications.
Students will identify the importance of tone and wording in online messages without body language and gestures to support conveyance of meaning.
